Jack:
I wanted to give you my update on AMD but the lines have been
busy since the close of the market until now at 11:00 PM. I suspect
that it has somehting to do with "Bertha" since their offices are
in N.C. Its never been busy that long before.

I had some other stocks I wanted to look at. I am following
about 15 stocks and of the 15 there is only one that shows any "net"
buying.I decided to take a plunge a few days ago and bought at about
10 1/2.Yesterday with the big drop it opened at 11 and closed at 11.
Today it closed at 12 up a point. The Stock is IDT on the
Nasdaq (IDTC). I read an article in the July Issue of Institutional
Investor. It is coming out with something called Netphone2.You now need
2 people with computers in order to talk on the Internet. They are
supposedly coming out with a process where only one person with a
computer is needed and they can call to say Italy or Japan and it
will transverse the Internet and pick up a local phone number in
say Europe so calls there will be 10 cents a minute. I believe they
also have the IDT Internet ISP.

MY point is that I am researching these Stocks out of various
Publications and contacts, then Charting them via TC2000 trying to
get such info as Insider Trading etc.Since I mentioned that I have this Charting Program, AMD has been in a "selling" Distribution
according to the Charts. AMD has also been down.I have two other
Stocks that show an Uptrend. They are PEP and NAE. I am not planning
on buying any more . I have them Charted because I own the Stocks.
They are trading in a very narrow trading range of about 1/2 point in
the last few days with NAE making a new high up an 1/8 at 11 1/8 the
other day.IDTC as of yesterday was showing steady buying as of a few
weeks ago and no selling on BOP.Now its up a point today.AMD has been
showing "net" selling and everday its down a little.the PEP nad NAE
show an uptrend and they are trading in a very narow range. All the
others show net selling and they are down.

Is it possible that there is something to this? At any rate, I am not
going to buy any AMD until I see some positive change or I get some
kind of conflicting indications that this Charting thing doesnt
work.It just doesnt look good for AMD at this point.I only bought
100 shares of this IDT as I didnt feel I was gettin a true feel for
the Charts unless I was participating. If I can do good and AMD keeps
up with the selling I can use the other Profits to buy AMD at
whatever low. At any rate, I ll keep everyone informed as to any
changes in AMD.

Charles
