Did some digging over the weekend, since I really am an optimist about IVAN. There is a good possibility that buying interest will start again this week.
What are the rules/guidelines for dealing in a stock after issuing a report? I think Jeffries & Co may have been under some restrictions and there must be a time limit to these.
I believe that NWLH-1 cement problem was indeed resolved. Apparently they have encountered major gas pressure just above the Tremblor formation and are speculating this may be gas perculating from the Tremblor. Also heard that AERA, once the drilling is complete, plans to test 5 zones. There is indeed internal (to IVAN) excitement about this well.
When are Bossier results going to be announced? This week? Hear they are very, very satisfied with the testing, but haven't heard a single quantative flow number yet.
Qatar apparently continues to be close. IR says its essentially done, that OPEC meetings have been conflicting with the Qatar oil ministers time to get this complete, but it should be done soon (10-30days is what I'm guessing). Financing will be interesting and has anybody seen Japanese financiers in Bakersfield lately? I hear yes.

And...who has been following the rise of the mining company Robert Friedland owns, IVN on TSE? The climb is mostly due to a major gold mining property they have in Mongolia. Friedland claims it just going to continue to climb.
