I would trust RHK anytime over Dell'Oro, ask a networker professional.

The D-report, if correct, presented an opaque picture by lumping a lot of numbers together. The gist is that the enterprise market for core routers grew slightly (CSCO in this space and JNPR is not), whereas the service provider's market (both CSCO and JNPR are in) remained stagnant. Thus, overall, it would appear that CSCO gained at the expense of Juniper when, in fact, Juniper never lost any customers to CSCO, as claimed by Juniper's senior management at a recent conference call.

I have a major holding in Juniper, a minor one in CSCO. It used to be the other way around until I saw JNPR's strong initiatives into the edge and wireless (in partnership with Ericson).

Nice day for all of us - can't complain regardless what you are holding, JNPR or CSCO.
