Nor did I, X. I wonder where these nice military people ...

... about whom tim fowler graciously says nice things here are risking their own lives picking live land mines out of the ground.

Kuwait? Somalia? Vietnam, after all these years?

Afghanistan, perhaps. Although I guess I would think it might be a bit early, as US bombing and such continues, like.

I would to say a nice thing about the people of Afghanistan whose friends and families have been slaughtered, and/or have experienced rather incredible abusive hardship caught innocently in a political 'tug-of-war' over who's going to eventually control the oil under their very feet. Spearheaded by such noble interests as the Bush family's interests in the Carlyle Group.

If they have one or both feet left, that is.

Those who are still alive, obviously.

Kudos to Afghans.

Here, there and everywhere.

I will also do my level best to find something ... ANYTHING ... nice to say about the Carlyle Group ... and Dick
Cheney, and George H W Bush, and Barbara, and all kin ... next time I show up here, X.

I promise.

Might take me a very long time, though, to find even one nicety with which to compliment this prestigious, moral crowd.

I'm sure you'll understand that my absence with such a pursuit as my goal, may be prolonged ...

Best,
