If you are a doubter of Skillings from Enron, and believe that he was lying to Congress in previous weeks, I have another BIG FAT "old" liar for you.

It's W. J. Sanders of AMD! He boldly told Maria B of CNBC tonight that 1) his processors are "better" than Intel's, 2) his people are "smarter" than Intel's, 3) his processors all cost less than Intel's, and 4) his company will be ahead of Intel in market share in 10 years.

While some of his processors are indeed cheaper, most of his processors are inferior in performance to Intel; at least according to PC Magazine.

As for his "AMD will be #1" claim, I guess they might be #1 in some sector; but these are indeed, illusions of grandeur.

How a CEO can lie "bright eyed" in front of millions of Americans, is truly amazing. Perhaps Congress should enlist Sanders in its attempt to correct the current problems in financial reporting.
