I have been wanting to see Israel retaliate, in full, for a long time. After the Palestinians turned down a great peace offer from Israel, and then resorted to savage and inhuman attacks on innocent civilians, Israel was given no choice. It is either the racist, religiously intolerant, backward, hateful Palestinian terrorists, or the Jews. It can't be both.
