TED - You should send them (Gaines Berland) a letter stating that you do not want to be solicted ever again, and ask to be added to the "Non-Solictation / Do Not Call" list. If they cold call you again, you can state that you should be on the no solicitation list, file a complaint, and receive cash for their ineptness. This fine due you is near $5,000 or more, depending on if the firm has been warned or fined for other similar violations.

I know this is the case with other brokerage firms...I am sure it is with GB as well. If interested, you will need to send a letter to each firm of which you do not want to be called from.
