<<What is the average time per trade for the people on this board? >>

I don't know who are "the people on this board". <g>

As far as I am concerned I like to buy when prices are "on the way up".<g> and try to get what I consider to be a good "entry point", keeping in mind that the first rule on buying stocks is to "try not to lose money" <g> so is always better to try to decide on an exit point just in case things don't turn out as planned.

If the stock remains on an up-trend I don't mind staying with it forever, although I often times sell 1/2 of my position if the stock doubles in price from my entry point <g>

Take a look at INSP's chart although it is O.T.<g>
If you bought Friday on the 15 minutes chart "buy signal" you can stay with the "trend" and sell it if the price dips below the red average line.<g>

Now you have to keep in mind that tomorrow it needs to close above 1.90 to keep its "momentum" and that it will meet heavy resistance at the 2.12 level from the Ls in late January and early February, so that should tip you about the "danger points" ahead that could change the present near-term uptrend".<g>

In other words is not a matter of "daytrading" but "trendtrading". <g> If the trend stays right I don't mind staying with it as time is not what is important.
