Some people would prefer not to mess with the highly volatile tech stocks. Can lose a lotta moolah in a hurry in todays market. After last year I have a newfound respect for the damage they can do.
I also was caught with my pants down, sold most all my telecom equip on the final capitulation day. I thought the ARMS Index had failed and the NASDAQ was heading down further, was waiting for a VIX confirmation. I do recall reading one of Don Hays morning market comments. Hays indicates that the VIX will not always show up for a reversal to happen. Not that it is a bad indicator - the times that it does show up (>35-40) it has been money in the bank.

Oh well, you and I can whoop it up on further strength.
