Hi Mike, for better or worse, and I make no judgement now, the steel will be used to march the world in a particular direction ... or so I understand from news reports ...

QUOTE OF THE DAY =========================
"If the Palestinians are not being beaten, there will be no negotiations. The aim is to increase the number of losses on the other side. Only after they've been battered, will we be able to conduct talks." -ARIEL SHARON, prime minister of Israel.

This is where WWIII was said most likely to begin. Western news does not carry but the Jewish side of the atrocity (there was a virtual black-out, for instance, about a Jewish director of a big Jewish west coast charity company in early October who went mad and bombed a Muslim mosque in LA). But this quote was taken from the NY Times, so it is getting worrisome to me.

Maybe it is not that problematic, but 18 months of killings is a sure lot of time to cement/solidify polar sides. I just hope it is the final, tail-end of this conflict and doesn't go over the edge from here.

Chugs, Jay
