More likely it is intermittent somewhere out there on the 'net. I use three ISPs because of this, and if anything, things are getting worse, not better.

I suppose it's no different than phone lines were, back in the 1920s, but it's still annoying to have your connection act up so frequently.

Oh well, it beats what we had 30 years ago.
