I guess if the data says times were better during Reagan and Bush Sr's time, then so be it. But I don't understand when I read stuff like I read today, "markets are now mired in their third and deepest corporate earnings trough since the recessions of 1982 and 1991." And that 1981 and today mark the worst possible time to be looking for a job. Business was bad for me from 1980 to 1984 and then again went to crap in 1989 and started improving in 1993. During those times I managed over 600,000 sq. ft. of industrial space, and I'm no professor of economics, but I take it as a personal economic indicator of bad time when everyone around me starts going broke, no matter what some one else's data may suggest.

Anway, thanks for the link.
