check this article: cbs.marketwatch.com the Gartner survey (in the MW article) is revealing for several reasons; all of them not encouraging for acceptance by consumers of added cost security chips and devices. Consumer acceptance drivers such as strong branding by MC/VISA, convenience, and 'no cost' will favor their rollout this year of transaction security measures. i sure hope the cc this thursday brings some news on products,marketing, and, oh yes, SALES (from the French bank consortium if no one else).
