Things aren't getting better with the internet infrastucture ... I don't think it's the infrastructure so much as commitment to service from the ISP's. If you're right, and Sympatico is doing installations that disrupt your service during the day, and if they have given you no warning, it's time to vote with your feet. I get my service from my local cable company ... they have always scheduled major installations to occur between midnight and 6:00 a.m and they give at least 3 days advance notice that there may be intermittent outages during their installs.
