Taliban-like mentality will always be with us, I suspect, in every country on Earth, and in every time- Most unfortunately there is no way I can disagree with you on this point. In my opinion, we made a mistake letting the Taliban-like mentality grow into full bloom in Afghanistan instead of nipping it in the bud. If one does not want ugly flowers or evil weeds popping up all over the place, the buds must not be allowed to grow and the evil blossoms must not be allowed to go to seed. Of course now we have evil seed spread all over the world, and it is going to be extremely difficult for us to stop them all from growing....
