Looking back...here is what I found.

Me: "To seek righteousness for righteousness sake. But why? That was my question."

I think that we had agreed that people seek righteousness for righteousness sake simply because it is there. I added the question, Why?

You brought the Mount Everest thing into it and reported that dreaming of conquering Everest was evidence of a soul. I was joking when I responded that this must mean I have no soul. You patiently clarified that it was not the only evidence but simply one manifestation. I challenged you on how this applied to the question at hand. At which you became offended by the appearance of mistrust; your mistake. I merely think you’ve failed to hit the targeted question. I see this as a side track. You appear to see it as conclusive.

It might help if you would explain what you believe a soul to be, but I doubt if that would answer the question
