FYI. UTStarcom snags $43.7M in pacts in China (UTSI) By Michael Baron UTStarcom (UTSI) is adding $2.62, or 11.7 percent, to $24.92, in late action. After Monday's closing bell, the Alameda, Calif., telecommunications equipment firm announced it has inked contracts worth $43.7 million for its PAS and IP-based PAS city-wide wireless access systems in 8 cities in the Yunnan Province of China.
