The Computer Experts ------------------ 1. How bout them fax machines! Couldn't do without em. Too bad they don't do colour. 2. Boy you youngsters can really do something with computers. .. In my day .. 3. We are thinking of getting a computer for the grandkid. What kind should I get? 4. Windows?, yeah I should take down the storms soon, wife would be getting after me, god rest her soul.. 5. Email, now how would I send someone email if I wanted to? I guess I gotta pick it up too.. is there a place I can do that and read it on a piece of paper? 6. We got a new computer at work. Boy are they having troubles. Guess we gotta get some expert in to tell us how to work it. Maybe I could get you to give me some pointers on it. Seems like some of us are going to have to use the darn thing. Not looking forward to that. 7. Say, what is a prompt? I am afraid to touch any keys if I don't know exactly what its gonna do. typing course? I knew I missed something in high school. 8. Hey you.. yeah the new guy, don't touch that thing unless you are trained on it.. I know it's a computer! Whaddaya think we are here, a bunch of greenhorns? 9. Now the screen just went blank when I plugged in the disc, guess I will have to call the company and ask them what to do ... maybe I shoulda kept the manual. 10. Yeah I turned it on and I was typing away and it went black.. what do you suppose is wrong? I am looking out the window. microsoft windows..? no they come in once a week, I think its Northern Window cleaners.. yes the light aren't on here or across the street... 11. What's a virus..? I asked for a computer that cleaned them up automatically.. sure we use disks from other places.. my son gave me this one.. he got it at high school, said the teacher gave it to him.. would they have a virus?
