I agree that for calling the bear dead is very early yet. However, IMO if Nasdaq manages to clear 2000 area (roughly), the neckline will be broken. It sure will be tested later. However if the test becomes successful and clears away with higher volume (this is also important) then it will be safe to call this ugly bear dead.

As to the computer index, I tend to watch the semi's as a first sign. Semi's will pave the way, comps and later software will follow.

I think all this turnaround to be complete, at least another 2-3 months will pass. So there is no need to be too excited :)
