Can anyone educate me?

I don't know how to calculate the weighted average of outstanding common stock. Here's the source of my confusion:

I noticed in the 1996 qtr 1 10-Q that they use a "weighted average of 128.8 shares to compute the eps. On the other hand, in the same report, they state that there are 4.75M preferred, 0.25 Series C junior and 119.05 Common stocks outstanding. Even if I add up all these I only get 124.05M. Can anyone who really knows tell me how the weighted average is computed? (No guessing please, I can do that for myself!)

Thanks -- Fernando
