Recall the Itanium deal, does anyone care anymore that it was what 3,4,5 or 20 years late. Of course, it would be a crime not make fun of it but it is no longer a problem, at least, from the lateness point of view. Currently intel has different problems with itanium: 1) lack of demand 2) upcoming competition from both intel itself and amd 3) possibly cost of production
