sniff, sniff, I smell agenda woven into this study.

Quit sniffing and put your reading glasses on. Or your thinking cap, whichever applies.

That point does not speak to the molesters of girls, only the molesters of boys. It does not tell us what proportion of total victims are boys vs. girls. Of those who molested boys, 74% were in a relationship with a female relative of the boy. You can fairly argue that men who have sexual relationships with both women and boys are not fairly called "heterosexual" but the point is that the men they are talking about, who are perceived to be heterosexual because they are in a sexual relationship with the female relative and are therefore perceived to be safe around boys, are not safe at all. As for the other 24%, they could be an identified gay or they could be married or insane or whatever. All we know about them is that they are men who are not in a relationship with the victim's female relative.
