JDN, I posted a link to a recent NY Times article about Y2K. As usual, although it talked about studies done by IDC and De Jager's web site, it ending up reading like one giant ad for EDS. Did the author even bother to check out De Jager's site and its 100+ Y2K company directory? Talk about lazy reporting.

However, the article is a fine example of cookie cutter journalism that you can use to your advantage: 1) Define what the Y2K problem is 2) Quote facts and figures about how much the problem will cost to fix, and 3) Give an example of how ALYD has chosen to correct it. Then, simply fax it to UPI or AP and see what happens.

P.S. Here's the journalism part of this post: the recent Form 144 filing (for a scant 6000 shares) was made by an investor, not an ALYD employee.
