West, I am not sure what you would want the Government to do. If they had a possible 10MG bomb going off in NY, should they tell the people and watch the evacuation? It would have shut the country down.

Then, when nothing happened, what would they do the next time they had a suspicion?

This type of threat is really a lose-lose situation if they don't have their facts right.
