AMD stated in their 4Q01 CC: "Yeah, I think that were we stand is that we will probably close the end of the fourth quarter being somewhere around 40% share of the US Retail mobile market, not quite as strong as we had hoped. jc-news.com AMD's stated goal from prior CC was 50% by year-end. They did make quite a recovery from basically zero in mid-year. This is probably a small sector of the mobile market and AMD's statement certainly doesn't match many of the observations noted by SI posters wrt products on the shelves. -PT
