Good morning, Marie, I have no idea what studies are going on currently in the US. I am no more informed than the average person on the topic; I just try to check facts and question assumptions that strike me as unsupported by other things I have read (e.g., homosexuality is related to pedophilia) One of the questions on that fact sheet addresses your question: Is incest pedophilia? Technically no, because it isn't viewed as a generalised preference for young children. However on average, more than 50 percent offend against more than one child in the family. Sixty percent of sexual offenses against children occur in the victims' homes. I am now off -- it is Spring Break and the first son will be home in a couple of hours-- then off to LA to see second son in a show! Have a wonderful week.
