sometime you should get a technical degree...I know you mean well but....

GSM1x IS an overlay. What your describing is just dual mode handsets which can roam between cdma1x and gsm..

GSM1x is when the GSM guys put in overlay basestations to increase THIER network capacity to use CDMA2000 INSTEAD of GSM over the air.

(read your last few posts and NONE of them are technical even close to true). GSM has no 1.25 Mhz carrier, but rather alot of little carriers in a narrow band, each one is a total channel, like 30 kHz.)

Suggest you read and understand some of the good information on the thread over the last month.
