Somewhat OT/No question, Mike. Beauty of this game

is the basket of different styles that will get you there, and can be melded with our different investor/trader temperments and performance objectives.

Back in 1986 when I left my last day job to do this full time, my final and most important mentor (a former petroleum engineer, professional investor & self made stock market multi-millionaire) also specialized in energy stocks. But his style was different from both yours and mine.

A very perceptive man about people as well as the markets. He knew from the gitgo the best way to accelerate a "journeyman trader's" development was to help him along the path he was already well along on toward a successful style vs trying to get me to copy his approach.

Though my style works great for me, doubt it would be appropriate for most people. So follow my old mentor's example and always encourage developing traders to stick to the path that fits best with the rest of their personal strengths and weaknesses and lifestyle vs only tailoring it to their financial goals.

Uh oh! I'd better get back to work. Tape waits for no man<g>

Cheers,

Isopatch
