I wasn't quoting you and have the impression lack of self respect is the reason someone
would consider beating each other up a fun time.

I don't need lectures on "good times" & my main concern is the gutteral level our culture has fallen
to in recent yrs. The 1st warning sign that "idiots" were plentiful in the country was the rise
of that non-sport, clownish activity called wrestling. Next, came the explosion in popularity of
humans who enjoy watching manic drivers hurlting themselves at 200mph in circles.(Then the
fans are shocked & stunned when one of them is killed--unbelieveable stupidity)

The newest moronic activity is this no-rules beating each other up with audience participation.
If you really enjoy reading, possibly at some time you've read about a civilization called the
Romans?......ya know, the ones who ultimately derived pleasure by watching other humans
being devoured by lions in their arena called the Colliseum?

This new breed of american has much in common with the decaying days of the
Roman Empire.

I do have a suggestion though that would redeem these culture-challenged citizens. They should all
join the military & request service in Afghanistan. They will have the pleasure of fighting other
humans there called al Qaeda who will be more than happy to fight them to the death (or so
they claim) & both groups can die as happy as clams.
