I don't think that INTC will have a chipset supporting DDR on P4s before 2H2002. Given the latency time differences, RDRAM is slower than DDR in benchmarks for most applications. I'm also looking to buy a new PC but don't like the idea of paying more for less performance. Thus I hope to wait for the release of the chipset supporting DDR.

If anyone has a different understanding of this issue, I'd love to hear about P4 availability with DDR...
