I agree. However, I don't see such happening in the foreseeable future. In fact, I see even fewer blacks voting Republican in coming years.

The real battleground will be for the Hispanic vote, since Hispanics now outnumber African-Americans in the United States. Keep a close eye on states such as New Mexico and Colorado. They may well serve as weathervanes for which party will control Congress in the coming years.
