Karen, good points! I read your post a short time ago and the site was really informative. I spent some time today searching for info on male/female pedophilia and found the following site. It's also informative but it...like yours...is an early 90s paper. I am concerned that the research is not continuing in this area... I think that you will find the discussion of boys being abused by women vs girls being abused by men a little troubling as I did. The boys refer to their abuse as "sexual initiation" and the girls as "sexual violation". Does our society condone sexual abuse on young boys by women because it's less offensive...or is it perpetuated as an " initiation" by their fathers, uncles and friends? ipt-forensics.com I find this disturbing!
