I did not say I believe the arguments that the good economy during Pres Clinton's adm. was a result of policies put in place yrs before. I always argued with more conservative republicans than me that even if we just gave Pres C credit for not replacing Alan Greenspan at the beginning of his 1st term, that alone proves he had the wisdom to make some correct decisions which kept the economy booming. On the other hand, yes, I believe the fact he made a few foolish personal decisions caused him to be so distracted with legal problems that he overlooked the smoke signals that danger was imminent as far as Sept 11.
