Hi Ann,

There are always those who will not let reality get in the way of a good prejudice. Here's some interesting data points on the actual macroeconomic course of the U.S. economy during the Reagan and the Clinton administrations. While I agree with you that the personal pecadillos of President Clinton were unseemly and distracting, I would hope that you would agree with me that were Clinton to have asked the American public in 2000, were they better off, vis a vis the 8 years of Reagan organized debt inflation, the American public would resounding agree that we were better off economically speaking.
