I've never heard of seduction called rape except in cases of statutory rape or retarded people who couldn't give legal consent.

I've never heard of date rape that didn't involve violence or intimidation, or brute physical force, which is the same thing, except in cases involving alcohol or drugs.

My sister went to the apartment of a male 'friend' (she thought he was a friend) and he came on to her and when she rejected the overture, he grabbed a prized handwoven (by me) shawl of hers and threatened to roast it in the oven if she wouldn't have sex with him.

(She did manage to get away with the scarf and her dog.)
