i was looking at the naz and adx.. going back couple years.. look like the adx does well sometimes, and sometimes it's totally wrong.

i think nancy's post hit the nail on the head where the ADX takes time to catch up with current price move, especially explosive ones.

I dont think there is sense of me posting charts of where ADX did not work, and where it did work (which there was).. Because the conclusion would be inconclusive.

If you have any suggestions, im open to ideas. I think the only way to eliminate the lag was to go to a lower timeperiod (ie: ADX (5) or ADX (9)), but it would create more noise.
