Censored fora vs. open fora "Greg I meant a thing about how upfront people are on intel thread vs here." This is because the Intel thread is an open forum while the AMD Moderated thread is a censored forum. This censored forum caters to the worldview of Ahmadi and his Intel-hating buddies. On the Intel thread, people have to defend their claims. Here, on the so-called "moderated" thread, those who defend Intel face sanction. Those who don't toe the party line first receive Mannigrams from Manni, warning them to recant, then are suspended, then are permanently excluded. Personally, I think it's just desserts. By not hearing so many dissenting views, AMDroids can live and invest in their dream state, forever talking about how the only reason AMD is not larger than Intel is because of "accounting tricks" and "manipulation of the SEC." I chortle when I read this cluelessness. And I laugh when I see people being wiped out by their misplaced faith. Most of you deserve to go bankrupt...and putting your eggs in Jerry's basket certainly seems the way to do this efficiently. Laughing at the AMDroids, --Tim May
