Joe, Re: "LOL. You are doing it again. You are already planning on flip-flopping your opinion to be in tune with Intel agenda. If you really were an independent thinker, you would have said: "If Intel goes with x86-64 and kills IA-64, it would be the dumbest idea, because IA-64 is far superior to x86-64 because of a), b), c) (insert your PR gibberish such as robustness, high availability etc)"

How dare you. If that question wasn't a set-up, then I don't know what is. I *am* an independent thinker, and I *do* think it would be a bad idea if Intel abandoned IA-64 for some lousy 64-bit extension. I've even said so many times before!

But - if Intel were to do such a thing, then I would also have to admit that I was wrong, or else you'd accuse me of being stubborn, and not letting go of the argument, just like TWY tried to do. I *can* admit that I am wrong, and I *do* change my opinion on things constantly. I don't know if I'd consider Intel a good investment after such a move, but I would admit that I was wrong about believing in it.

So you can stuff your lousy set-up questions. I almost thought we had an interesting conversation going, but now I realize that you only wanted to rub more mud in my face. Congratulations, big-shot, I hope it was worth it.

Re: "Ok, I will be watching."

I won't. You're now on ignore.
