>I see. So when AMD talks about "True Performance" in their "True Performance Initiative," are they talking about CPU performance or actual system performance?

I see you'd rather change the subject than continue to defend AMD's "QuantiSpeed" campaign. I can understand. ;-)<

The True Performance Initiative and QuantiSpeed are two independent things, lauched simulaneously by AMD to confuse the market.

The True Performance Initiative is a set of benchmarks being advocated by AMD as a means of measuring the true performance of processors. It is a counter to Intel's influence in the benchmarking community.

QuantiSpeed is a model numbering system that has no true link to actual performance.
