08:50 ET SUNW Sun Microsystems: cautious comments by Soundview (9.03) We are hearing from sources that Soundview is maintaining their negative bias on SUNW leading up to tonight's mid-qtr update; checks with North American resellers indicate that business is comparable to or worse than Jan levels, and consequently firm expects the co to reduce rev guidance and/or lower profit expectations; believes stock is attractive at $7-$7.50.
