In other news, the FTC has given its approval for the proposed Hewlett-Packard (HWP 20.18)/Compaq (CPQ 10.98) merger; meanwhile, Sepracor (SEPR 20.44 -26.83) is getting hammered in pre-market action after being informed the FDA intends to issue a non-approvable letter for Soltara brand Tecastemizole... Presently, the S&P futures are 4.90 points above fair value while the Nasdaq 100 PMI is up 12 points.
