Nice post but Mr. Daschle said he was not informed about the shadow govt or being clued in the "military strategy" . My view is that the Speaker of the House, the Senate Lead, the Senior member of the Senate, the Leaders of the Armed Forces Committees as a minimum ought to be informed to minutia in our military contingencies and plans at all times. More than Daschle said they didn't have a clue.
