Jeffery, I agree with you. Xylan is a screaming short around 50. Unfortunately, I am maxed out on margin right now, waiting for other stocks to make a move after earnings. If Xylan stays around 50 in the next two weeks, I will be shorting it big time. It is definetly good for another 8 to 10 points. 15? 20? That may be asking too much. The employees will have another window around late August to sell their shares. Look for another slide, just like the last one. The only unknown is the ATM switch, which is already delayed. If Cisco comes out with it first, it could be sayonara for Xylan. Anyhow, just my opinions, take it for what it is worth. The latest jump was due to some army contract for their omni/pizza switches. Even so, they are way over-valued. Keep an eye on it though.
