Paul, ok, where did I even suggest that AMD would get an advantage out of the situation? I was merely stating a fact. Even someone like me, experienced with hardware, would have a hard time choosing a product. I think the major confusion will arise from the fact that banias might be clocked equally or higher than the p4 and may even have higher IPC. ( just a guess ).
