I think CTHR buys their stuff from CREE. I'll check this out to confirm it but, I think they have some sort of nepotistic partnership for exclusive access to CREE SiC crystals. Not a bad arrangement if there is market for the stuff. OTOH it could be just an convenient way for CREE to dispose of waste/excess while also boosting sales.
