A question for after the market closes, when you have time to reflect:

I'm sure you recall last April's painful 61% AMAT rise in only 7 trading days. You were short during much of that time period, but deftly limited your losses to only about 8 points. Looking at your trades during that time period confirmed my belief that you seem to ignore or defy the ST trend (1-10 days), which most ST traders slavishly follow. How did you develop this technique, rather than follow the ever-popular "the trend is your friend" school of thought?
