wbmw, I am done pondering. My understanding is that they will introduce an innovative powernew/speedstep where it would throttle down individual pieces of the cpu while others would run at full speed. That way you can have high clock speed and low power. I think your assertion that high frequency = high power is not 100% true. The P4M shows that.
