TeNTA soon to be part of MKS tenta-tech.com corporate-ir.net Tenta will be acquired for a combination of cash and stock; detailed terms of the transaction were not disclosed. However, The transaction, which is subject to certain closing conditions, is expected to be completed in the first calendar quarter of 2002 and is anticipated to be additive to MKS' cash earnings per share in 2002. What is the meaning of TeNTA? Is it just a combination of "T" + "e" + "NTA" or is it from the same root as tentacle, the Latin tentare? Whatever it is, MKS has tentacles, in more ways than one. WT
