Tip there are going to be a bunch of nuke plants shut down this summer; their maintenance is public info, though for the life of me i can't remember where i saw this (so sorry no link -- you'll just have to take my word).

a number of people think that this'll make a difference for NG prices, though I have heard a counter that better hydro generation out west (versus last year) will basically make up for any lost generation capacity from nukes being down for maintenance (although of course I'm sure there will be regional spikes as the hydro and nuke are surely in different areas).

with storage so high right now (in the face of still declining GOM and West TX drilling) i personally don't really see how gas prices go up. then again, land drillers (like NBR and PTEN) and gassy E&Ps are telling me that gas is going higher. so is Sun, and I don't like to bet against that guy.

Cheers
