Well, first of all, that's not nice.

But moving right along, do note that Paula is no longer a homely woman since she got her expensive nose job. That day she saw something pink in the governor's lap and stayed around long enough to note all the details was surely the luckiest of her life. She was right when she told her sister and bro in law what had happened, and remarked, "I smell money"!
